Message from the Chair of Governors

Dear Parents,

As a group of Governors, we came together with a mission of providing more spaces for children to have the Jewish education that so many parents yearn for. This school aims to provide children with an excellent and full secular and kodesh curriculum, with Torah values at the very front and centre together with a love of Israel. We have made these ideals the very fibre and fabric of this school. As a Board of Governors, we are indebted to our supporters in this project; the Jewish Secondary Schools Movement (JSSM) and the Edgware Adath Yisroel Congregation (EAYC) who have provided us with much support and help. The JSSM has a fine record in running outstanding Jewish schools and we are honoured that more than 60 years on from when Rabbi Dr Solomon Schonfeld began, that we, a new and young generation, have the chance to continue in the ways of our illustrious forebears. The EAYC is a model community that for the past 60 years has been at the forefront of Torah life in Edgware. Most of our governors and many of our parents are members of the community and we are proud of our close connection. The Governors are working with an architect in order that we may start building a state of the art school, combining functionality with all the latest amenities suitable for the 21st century.
