Learning and Teaching

We encourage all children to:

  • develop a lifelong love of learning
  • think for themselves and express their creativity
  • fulfil their true potential
  • develop high levels of confidence and self-esteem
  • become independent learners
  • We follow the National Curriculum in Years 1 - 6.
  • The children's progress and achievement is assessed and tracked using National Curriculum attainment standards.
  • We believe that actively developing children's speaking and listening skills, as well as their ability to compose and write independent text confidently, is central to children's future educational and economic success.

Consequently, the National Curriculum skills of both Speaking and Listening and independent English writing are prioritised, taught and assessed within both the chol and kodesh lessons. We offer a well-balanced and varied curriculum and are committed to a high standard of teaching from all our staff. We will follow the National Curriculum guidelines and will teach:
